Confirmed by Apple iPhone 4 Antenna has a Problem
Author: admin

The new and improved iPhone has been launched yesterday. Hundreds, if not thousands, have waited in lines to be among the first ones to own Apple’s new wonder-phone. But the new hardware comes with new problems from the first day: the iPhone 4 loses signal if held in hand in a certain way.
An Apple spokesman told the world in a statement about the antenna glitch: “Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas. If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases.”
This problem is making new iPhone 4 owners’ lives miserable. Some of them are even calling the phone “useless in its current state” and are disappointed of their new acquisition.
But the antenna problem is not the only one found in the new generation of smartphones: some iPhone 4 units – over 50 and counting according to tech blogs – have yellow tinted screens, others have groups of pixels on the new Retina Display that are brighter than the rest of the surface (they call this “pixel constellations”) and some fresh iPhone owners report a glitch made probably by the absent minded Chinese workers at the Foxconn factory – swapped volume buttons.
Let’s hope all these problems will be sorted out in a short time!
